$2,850,000 Settlement
A large multi-building condominium association sustained damages as a result of Hurricane Wilma. The insurance company denied most of the claim arguing that most of the damages were pre-existing. They paid minimal dollars above the deductible which the condo association disputed. The association hired a public adjuster and an attorney who failed to collect any additional compensation. The condo association proceeded to hire our firm. David and his team of experts including licensed general contractors, engineers, and adjusters went to work. The team conducted a thorough investigation and produced several reports which contradicted the insurance companies’ reports. The case went to appraisal and the appraisers agreed with our experts and our legal arguments. We ultimately settled for a very favorable amount which adequately compensated the condo association to make repairs to their buildings.

A small multi-building condominium association sustained damages as a result of Hurricane Wilma. The insurance company accepted the claim but grossly undervalued the amount of the damages. The association hired a public adjuster who was unable to obtain additional compensation. Thus, the association hired David. After examining the buildings and the insurance companies’ reports, David and his team of experts found several discrepancies and inconsistencies in the assessment of the damages. The team thoroughly prepared reports and the case went to appraisal. The appraisers could not agree and thus the case went to an umpire for a final decision. The umpire agreed with our appraiser and experts and ruled in the condo association’s favor for additional compensation. We ultimately settled for an amount that allowed the condo association to complete all of their repairs.
$280,000 Settlement
An aged multi-building condominium association sustained damages as a result of Hurricane Wilma. Due to the age and condition of the buildings, the insurance company completely denied the claim arguing that the damages were pre-existing. After consulting with several attorneys and adjusters, the association eventually chose David to represent them. He and his team of experts immediately found problems with the insurance company adjusters’ reports. We ultimately provided the insurance company with new reports disputing their denial and assessment of damages. After fighting hard against them, the insurance company eventually agreed with our new reports and the case didn’t even go to appraisal. We settled for an adequate amount and the association was able to make repairs to their buildings.
